BBQ At Pangkor Marina, Varnishing The Entrance And Navy Movements In Front Of My Flat.

The East Malaysian Yacht Rally stopped at Pangkor Island Marina and James, the Manager, arranged a BBQ and Potluck evening at the yard. It was a very nice evening and many long distance sailors showed up. As lost of them are circumnavigating and a certain age..., I was wondering how many nm we have sailed between us? It must be a huge amount.

James and his family at the BBQ.

Someone showed up with a bucket full of fresh fish.
The result of my, so far, three weeks varnishing job. Not happy with the result, yet....

The aft bed has been taken apart and looks like this since mid January because of the work with new batteries and repair of the Charger no 2. Batteries are installed OK, but the repair of the charger has not worked and the chap does not show up. Am considering refusing to pay him and will soon reinstall the bed and get on with my life. Three months like this is a very long time.
Plenty of Navy ship movements each day. This evening five ships arrived and there are now 12 ship docked. Great view from my 15th floor flat.
