Sunday At Pangkor Marina.

Some of the work has started. I use to do this sanding job and in the heat here it is impossible for me to do it. Thus I have booked most of the jobs to be done by the yard. Sanding the anti fouling is an awful job. Work done so far, apart from cleaning inside and outside, are: Bow Thruster bar manufactured for RM 25 (€ 5.50), sign post nicely done for RM 25 and hire of reconditioning unit. However there are so many jobs still pending and I will need a lot of patience to get people around. The batteries are dead after less than a year of use - the chap in NZ seems to have sold me start batteries and not the promised Deep cycle batteries. Am considering Victron Gel costing RM 3.000 (€ 631/each) and I will need 7; the chap will come tomorrow Monday to see what I need and how to fit them, but as these batteries come from NL, the delivery time is 2-3 weeks by air, which is a big problem for me.
