Sailing South From Phuket To Marina Island Pangkor.

The area is littered with small islands and high rock formations sticking out of the shallow sea. Many interesting shapes. And there are thousand of them. Its Limestone, I believe.

Some places are beautiful. Courtesy of the Guide.

I never like when these boats come too close. I was prepared, just in case.....

Managed to get to a nice bay on the north side of Langkawi Island, Malaysia before sun set. A long days sail.
Paul and Lilian from CH in their Amel 46 was here and we had a good chat. I met them in Indonesia several times.

Here I am approaching Telaga Marina and there were a lot of trawlers to watch out for. I was amazed to see the big size and the amount of fish they caught. I never caught any since Australia.

Here people pay to get a short up and down sail at Telage Harbor. Lots of drinking and singing...........

A wonderful anchorage at the south island of Langkawi waiting for the wind.

Arrived well in Marina Island Pangkor.

A wedding at the Marina. Huge thing, but strange way in an European view.

New Dawn being prepared for the haul out.
Sunset over Pangkor Island seen from the deck of New Dawn.
