From Cartagena To Trintipan Island, Columbia. PS: This post is placed wrongly and I don't know how to reclassify it to 2014?

04.01.2014:

We finally left Cartagena early (06:15) this morning as the sun came up and headed to the channel 9 Nm south of our anchorage. Loads of traffic and many talks with the traffic control, before we were out in the open water again. The Cartagena harbour and bay is extremely dirty and rolling and we are surprised about the amount of Barnacles and alge we have accumulated during our 12 days stay there.

We sailed south, but with little wind we ended up motor sailing for the 35 Nm until we arrived in Tintipan Island at 14:30. In fact we motored more today than we did collectively since Almerimar, Spain, as we did not use the engine at all during the crossing, etc.

The anchorage is very nice and there is only another yacht here and a few houses and huts on the beach. It is wonderful to again be in a calm anchorage and still have the wind cooling us a bit. The water temperature is 31.4° C and the air is very hot, but the breeze cooled us more that we could get in Cartagena, which was sticky hot and humid. We might stay here a few days to enjoy this wonderful place.

On our way  we rolled in the sails and had a refreshing swim.

We had a visit of a Dolphin family of four and they stayed with us for quite a while, as we was making 7 kn.
