Some Photos From Our Even Younger Days.

Some photos from our even younger days.

Flying Home In Lufthansa Style.

On 25 October 2015 I left New Dawn in Senibong Cove Marina and traveled to Changi Airport in Singapore to fly home with Lufthansa's A380-800b huge plane. It is a wonderful plane and so big that one does not really feel the take off and landings. It can take more than 600 passengers and it is, so far, the best plane I have ever flown with. Will be taking the same plane when I return to New Dawn in March 2016.

Thus, ending this part of my trip covering NZ in March 2015 to New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Australia, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Walk For Hope.

Today Senibong Cove Marina sponsored a walk for a charity operation. They attracted over one thousand peoples for the 3.5 km walk and gave out medals, food and prices. A very well organised event and people were happy.

Malaysia is a Muslim country and loads of the females have to wear the weal, which I find a pity and sad.

Senibong Cove Marina And An Evening Out.

The view from the marina and across to Singapore.
Believe or not: these chaps stands at an inside basin loaded with fish and just fish. They pay for the kg fish they catch. Great fun perhaps?

We had a great BBQ costing EUR 10 all in.

Lars is Danish and his wife is Australian.

Sven is also Danish and Teddy is Australian married with a Philippine girl?

Senibong Cove Marina.

This is Senibong Cove Marina in Malaysia where I will leave New Dawn while I will be home.
Note at the right hand side of the photo you will see one of the shipyards in Singapore only a few hundred meters away.
Sven arrived yesterday with his "S/Y Dana Felecia" and will stay here until mid November for the start of Sail Malaysia.

My dinner at the marina restaurant costing a modest € 10.00 with a beer.

Singapore

A day in Singapore together with Jean Louis and his co-owners of his boat. A long and tiring day, but worth the effort. Singapore is a hectic city/country with 5.8 million people on a small surface (45 x 25 km).

My lunch together with Jean Louis.

 Two photos for Nicolas.

And my dinner.
