Temples And More From Our Trip In Penang Island.

First a little anchor story: These photos are the anchors "before" being galvanized.

And these photos show them "after" they have been galvanized.

Hired a car for three days as Chris arrived and the following photos are from our trips around the Penang Island.

The marina growth is overwhelming in this waters at 34° C. Big job to clean off.

Then to the Kek Lok Si Temple.

The fishing village on the north part of the island where I was anchored when first arriving in Penang.

Food is good and inexpensive in Malaysia. So far no stomach problems.

Then on to a Budist Cimetary

And the huge Temple at Kek Lok Si.

Here thay take off their shoes, just like we do before entering a house.

So Chris was here....

Our vegetarian lunch restaurant. Very tasty and cost EUR 3 for the two of us.

Now at the Snake Temple.
