Lifuka Island was hit by a category four Cyclone in January 2014 and
suffered a lot of damage, with most buildings destroyed and many of the big
trees were also damaged. They are trying to rebuild it with the support from the
World Bank, AUS. and NZ. the Village has a sad look but the people we met were all friendly.
