Tahiti is part of France, but they like to show their own flag.

I could not be sure if these cooking pots had also been uesd to cook humans, but I assume they have.

This is a Coconut competition. Each had to crack 85 Coconuts and get the white meet into a sack. Incredible fast this happened and the winner was right in front of us.

Miss Tahiti was also present.

We hired a car for three days and did the complete tour of Tahiti, which is actually two islands. Here we are at the SE part of the smaller island Tahiti Nui.

This beach is considered one of the best in the world for Surfing. The weather was nice and the waves not too big when we were there. There were 6 surfers out on the reef.

Tahiti is very green.

Marlo Brando had bought an island close by, but it is not this one.
