Finally after a three week's delay caused by Customs, I received yesterday the new plotter and radar from the UK and C-Maps from the USA. It is now all installed and we plan to set sail tomorrow Wednesday.

Home Made Bread And Shopping Done.
Knut and Kristin is experimenting with making bread. Today it became a kind of "Fugas".
The shopping is done and stored away and we are quite full as we have to count on having at least six months supplied on board for the IO.

On Our Way To Langkawi.
We finally left Boat Lagoon Marina at high water Friday 23.03.2018 and anchored at a very nice island only a few NM away, so we could do more work and testing the poor workmanship.
Knut hand-steering and is very happy to be back on board and sailing again.

Work, Work And More Work And Kristin And Knut Blog..
Many things has happened and Knut and Kristin has done a super job all over the boat. They are very skills, energetic and like to work on New Dawn. I can't say how much I appreciate their efforts. Some examples are that the standing Rigging is now changed and they did a super job. Too many other jobs done that are too lengthy to list, at the moment.
The below photo shows the high pressure pump taken out and that needed re-wiring. It was done in about four days and works well again.
The Saloon/Front air-conditioning unit was not working well and needed a bit of A22 gas and was done quickly, with the result that we are "cool" again.
The Westerbeke generator is apparently working again, after a wait of 5+ weeks. They are installing it at the moment and I can't wait to see it working, after they have re-wired it and had loads of problems, basically caused by the electrician loosing the photos and not knowing how to reinstall it. Will see soon if it will work....
We need new and additional "nets" for the fruits and vegetables. It was impossible to find ready made nets, so K&K bought some suitable materials (expensive) at Rolly Tasker Sail Loft and produced four nets. They look good and will be great to have. Two to three will be installed at the solar panels, as shown in the below photos and the rest in the saloon to replace the old ones I bought and made in the Caribbean.
Kristin and Knut has set up a blog for the Indian Ocean trip, which can be seen here: https://nobaddays.blog/

A Day Out In Phuket.
Kristin and I polished this morning the stainless steel and Knut installed two new water pumps, which was great and the fresh water pumps no longer comes on all the rime. Great work. As it started to heat up we drove south to visit the Big Buda in Chalong.
The view of the Chalong Bay from the Big Buda.
Then we drove to the large Temple Chris and I visited 1.5 years ago and I bought a "number" of the nice Thai T-Shirts - well quite a number that is.
We ended up in Ao Po Marina where they had the Thailand Boat show. Mostly they exhibited motorboats, but it was interesting to visit that marina.
Kristin and Knut waiting for their beers...... which was a long wait.
And I bought Gabriel a Thailand T-Shirt with Elephants embroidered on it.
